Locations

Cheesman Park and City Park are two of Denver’s most iconic and pet-friendly green spaces, each offering a unique setting perfect for capturing stunning pet portraits. Cheesman Park is known for its expansive open lawns, elegant neoclassical pavilion, and tree-lined paths that glow beautifully at golden hour. It’s a peaceful spot where dogs can roam freely and comfortably, making it easy to capture relaxed, joyful moments. Just a short drive away, City Park offers a more dynamic backdrop with its scenic lake, colorful gardens, and sweeping views of the Denver skyline and mountains. The variety of textures and scenery allows for both playful action shots and striking portraits in one session. Both parks are easily accessible, dog-friendly, and full of natural beauty—ideal for showcasing your pet’s personality while creating timeless images you’ll love.

About Me

I’m Justin, a Denver-based pet photographer with a deep love for dogs, storytelling, and capturing the magic of the moment. It all started with my Goldendoodle, Buffy—my photogenic muse, location scout, and constant companion. I’ve always believed that photos and videos are the most meaningful keepsakes we have of our pets once they’re gone, and that belief fuels every session I shoot.

I specialize in outdoor portraits, whether we’re running through cityscapes or relaxing in nature, and I love working in all tones—from warm and glowy to rich and moody. Pets don’t care about fame or filters—they just live in the moment. That’s what I capture: the real, the goofy, the beautiful.
